My studio is smaller, there are 5 spots total. Instruction is more personalized with eyes on and optional hands-on assists.

The M.E.S.S. Workshop is an opportunity to connect deeply with yourself and the community that gathers. There is an emphasis on trust, inspiration, and openness as we journey together through a mix of exercises and practices designed to get you OUT OF YOUR HEAD and into the present moment.
M.E.S.S. stands for Meditation, Embodied Movement, Shared Conversation, and Synchronization. Themes from each of these disciplines are woven throughout this 90-minute workshop. Participants can expect the unexpected – you have likely never experienced something like this before and that is OK. Our promise to you is to hold space, encourage exploration, and listen deeply.

Deep Stretch Yoga
The tempo of this class is beginner to intermediate. We begin with passive holding poses and progress to fluid, controlled movement. Passive, active, and isometric stretches will be used in this class for maximum flexibility. Plan on 2-4 minute holds where we deeply fall into breath to either relax and open or balance and strengthen. The objective of this class is to gain greater flexibility, release, and healthy strength.
You can expect music, close bodies, and a better feeling mind & body when you leave. Mats provided with cost.

Focused Fitness
This class will guide you in strengthening ALL crucial muscle groups for stabilization and performance. We will use body weight and resistance bands and rotate between upper body/core and lower body/core.
The structure of the class will begin with dynamic stretches for warm up, progress to a 7-exercise circuit for 3-4x, and conclude with some passive stretching. Plan on high energy music to accompany the workout. All workout levels welcome!
If our bodies are continuously achy or in pain, much of the time those areas are just weak. Strengthening the proper way can truly help eliminate so much body discomfort. This takes weight off the skeletal body and activates the proper muscle groups for support.

Booty Fitness Series
This is a live, continuous 4-week class that focuses on shaping and strengthening those much needed booty muscles. Strong glutes help minimize back pain and injury, improve posture and athletic performance, and most importantly counterbalance the pelvic floor muscles.
This is an opportunity to get to know members of the community while giving attention to your energy and wellness. There are only 4 spots so there is personal attention given to body mechanics and form, this should be a fun experience! We will start by working with our bodyweight and progress to resistance bands and fast-paced circuits. I encourage each person to wear breathable clothing that makes them feel strong and beautiful.
Each class will have an exercise for squat, lunge, hinge, and abduction movements. This class will strengthen core, hip flexors, glutes, hamstrings, quads, and calves. Glutes are our focus, but the entire lower body will work.

Momma & Baby Group
A space each week for moms and their precious babies to commune and connect. This group is about moms coming together to relate, experience wellness, watch their babies develop, and create memories. This infant stage is so brief, so this time is beautiful.
If and/or when we meet at The Healing Nook, I will provide tea, mats and blankets for mommas and babies, sound healing instruments, discussion prompts, nurturing/bonding/developmental activities, and movement instruction. All other meetups could be for a hike, beach day, park play, etc. We plan the week to week as a group.
When at The Nook, there is a comfortable sitting area for any moms who want to step away to nurse, nap, or just have a moment with their baby. This space is for you. You can use it however you need. I welcome the natural moments of motherhood.
Class Schedule
Wednesdays, 10:00am. Exact time depends on group activity plan.
Age for babies is as young as you feel comfortable to any age where they can still relax on the mat or be held in a carrier.
This is a donation-based group. Sometimes we gather outside, in which case, there is no charge.

Free Space
This is your time to come enjoy The Healing Nook! You are welcome to use the yoga props for your own practice, meditate, listen to music, journal, sip tea, chat– whatever feels good.
There is no charge during free space hours. Donations are accepted but not expected.
